Instructions for API Key

1. Log in to Asana.
2. Click your profile photo from the top bar and select "My Profile Settings"
3. Click the "Apps" tab
4. Click "Manage Developer Apps"

If you see the service account option

5. Click the Add Service Account button
6. Type LeanIX SMP as a name.
7. Copy your token. Remember this value, as it will be needed to integrate Asana with LeanIX SMP.

If you do not see the service account option

5. Click "+ Create New Personal Access Token"
6. Type LeanIX SMP as a description of Personal Access Token.
7. Click "Create"
8. Copy your token. Remember this value, as it will be needed to integrate Asana with LeanIX SMP.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't I see a last seen data?

The last seen is only available to the service accounts on the Enterprise plans. This is the limitation on the Asana side. In case of the connection on the non-enterprise plan, the same data will be aggregated, just without last seen for users. This is the limitation on the Asana side.
